Welcome!
Since this is my inaugural post on this blog, perhaps I should be waxing poetic about something or other. But I'll spare you that! Instead, I merely want to touch on a couple of random points:
1. First and foremost, I want to say thanks for visiting! I'm assuming that my readers will primarily be old-timers from my previous blogs...thanks for coming over, and for being patient with me while I get this one off the ground! I really appreciate ya'll:o)
2. After having blogged for more than two years, this blog represents a fresh start for me. I felt the need to start with a clean slate and a fresh focus. I'll probably, however, be transferring some of my favorite posts from my older blogs over here as I get the chance. And I'll wait a little while before deleting the older blogs. Those of you who have been blogging for a while know how it is...our blogs gradually begin to contain so much of our histories...it's hard to part with them completely!
3. This website is not yet completely finished...you'll find some links that don't work yet and such. Also, the design remains somewhat tentative at this point (and will probably always be a work in progress:o) But--being a recovering perfectionist--I wanted to give myself the chance to practice being OK with "in progress". If I know people are visiting me here, that's extra motivation to focus on my priorities for this site instead of dawdling endlessly over the minor details!
4. I hope this website will become a place for sharing encouragement with other women, as well as things I've learned and am learning along the way. But since I'm young and inexperienced relative to many out there (I'm twenty-five and have been married for four years), I don't want to come off as though I have all the answers or am an "expert" in any of the topics I may write about. I'm a fellow traveler who has just as much to learn as anybody. So I heartily welcome the wisdom and experience of all you other wonderful ladies (as I'm assuming most of you will be) out there! I always appreciate reading your comments!
ETA: If my template is doing anything wacky on your computer, please let me know! We had a couple problems with this before, but I'm hoping we now have it fixed. Thanks!:o)

Hi, Erin!
I've lurked on both your old blogs and commented less than a handful of times but I'm excited to see you've got your new blog up and running! I'll try to be a better reader and comment more frequently. I've actually just taken the plunge and started up a new blog myself so feel free to come and visit sometime!

Hi Rachel! You're officially the first person to comment on my new site...thanks for taking the time to share with me! Good luck on your new site, too!:o)
I'm so happy you got your new site up and running!! It looks lovely--I especially love the header picture and font. I'll be adding you to my links and visiting often! It's nice to see you back in the blog world again. :)
I'm like Rachel...somtime reader and lurker. I like the new blog, and I'm looking forward to reading it! Myabe I'll even comment more. =)
Your new site is beautiful. I love the colors you used. Welcome back to the blogosphere!
Welcome back, Erin. I can't wait to read more.
So glad your new site is up, Erin. Did you draw the bird at the top? It looks very cute. I love the colors.
Happy blogging :)
Steph
Yay!! I look forward to this 'fresh start'! That's how I felt about Cherish The Home--It was my 'fresh start'. (o:
One thing I would suggest is enabling the setting to allow profile pictures to show. It can cut down on confusion, IMO.
Blessings and Hugs!

Thanks for all the sweet comments, ladies! They gave me the boost I needed to get a few more techy things squared away--the technical side not being my favorite part--so I can really start having fun with the creative side of things!
A special welcome to the self-described "lurkers/rare commenters"...I'd LOVE to hear more from you!
Stephanie, yes...I did draw the bird. I don't really want to pay for custom art/graphics and I was kind-of fearful of infringing on somebody else's copyrights, so I just tried to do my own:o) I drew that bird to remind me of a drawing hanging in my grandma's house that I've always LOVED of two FAT cute little birds. The fatter, the cuter, IMO:o)
Mrs. B, I took your suggestion to enable pics again! I agree...I think I like it better that way too!
Hey Erin! Your new blog is looking great! Welcome back! I've finally taken the chance to get back to the computer myself after our busy week with the fam. I'm glad you are back to blogging...I loved reading Unfolding Moments. Love, Mom P.S. The template came across perfectly on my computer...looks good!
Oh this looks soooo nice Erin. Warm, kind, uncluttered and feminine. Maybe you have a future in web design : )
Looking forward to this new blog, and i'll be linking to it too...
Paix,
Wendy
Thanks, Mom and Wendy! Wendy...that's too kind about the web design! I have enjoyed learning more about it, though!
