Living in a small home #6

And one last picture...
...just 'cause I like it:o) These are my $4 daisies from the grocery store. (Walmart also has bouquets for about $4). I like to pick up some fresh flowers now and then when I do my grocery shopping...I think it's worth the four bucks of my grocery money to add some a cheer to my house. Since I don't have any beautiful gardens to gaze out at from my window, I'll have my own teensy one inside:o)

Well that's it for tonight. If anybody actually made it through the entirety of my posts, well...I'm impressed! I'm afraid I tend to be over-enthusiastically rambly when it comes to writing about organizing, decorating, and improving our homes (as inexpensively as possible!). It's just one of my "things":o) Thanks for letting me share my recent home project with you!

Good Job Erin!! Your home looks lovely...and I especially like the last picture of your candles and flowers. Looking forward to seeing the three of you tomorrow night. Pat baby for me! xoxo

Thanks, Erin! I really enjoyed seeing inside your home. We also have a small home, here in Indonesia.

I know what your real plan was...to make us wait so long to read something from you that we would be guaranteed to like it. :) Just kidding.

Even though I totally understand the need to focus on your home, I'm really glad you are able to find time to write again.

Oh your little house looks wonderful! I'm decluttering (read: PURGING) my own at the moment, and never thought to take pictures. My before and afters would have been very impressive. ;) My house is probbaly twice the size of yours, but we have 5 kiddies running around and it was starting to feel a little cramped :) So I'm being very harsh to myself and giving away a lot of stuff that I was weirdly sentimentally attatched to, even though I had out grown them, or they were, in a word, tacky. My husband is very impressed and proud... he's a minimallist, where as I tend to lean (lurch) towards clutter.

I can't wait to see what you're doing with your kitchen and bedroom. And I'm so glad that your pregnancy is progressing well. I keep getting concerned for you when you don't post... When you didn't post all December, I'm afraid I feared the worst! So I prayed extra hard for you.

So now, after that mild scolding *wink* I hope we can see more of your homemaking efforts. They encourage me so much.

Hi Kerry and Jen! (And Mom...the baby has been getting amply patted;o)

I've been in a ruthless decluttering mood myself, but a lot of the sentimental stuff does trip me up, so I definitely know what you mean, Jen! And thanks for praying for me!
